Review of CHOYOYU!: High School Prodigies Have It Easy Even in Another World!

Highschool prodigies, a show that exists. I both enjoyed and disliked this show. The way it feels is like it cant decide whether it wants to be a gag show or a serious show. The premise the title the intro the mayo arc all scream gag isekai. However, then we can get scenes where it seems like its trying to be serious but fails cuz the rest of the show is a joke. id be more likely to believe this show to be a gag isekai if it actually had some comedic value but it seems to lack that. The show feels like a knockoff doctor stone in some aspects.

story: 4 else 5/10
The story is another thing that exists its not amazing by any means but it exists and isnt complete BS. Aside from that theres not really much to it. Its generic. End of.

Art: 5/10
Nothing amazing here but its not bad. I can look at it and think yeah this is generic anime style art here.

Sound: 6/10
i tend to rate average with sound as i dont really listen to OST's that much but i like J-pop and the intro is just that so...

Character: 4/10
bleh, the characters in this are just empty they're defined by what they're prodigies in and thats about it.
Magician is just bad though atleast most of the others feel semi-realistic but this dude just straight up is fantasy level of magic there is no grounding behind this. It feels like with him the writer just went "sure whatever let's go crazy" whereas with the others they went "eh i guess this would kinda be do able in real life"

Enjoyment: 7/10
Yeah i enjoyed it its dumb and ridiculous in what it does. Id go for another season solely because there was an orbital cannon in the intro and i wanna see what in the holy name of Theresa May that exists for.

Overall: 6/10
its whatever i wouldnt recommend as a serious recommendation but as a joke yeah go watch lmao
