7.1/10 When I saw the cover art, I thought I’ve read this before, but that was a different story where the hero wasn’t accepted because he was fat. And because I dropped that one, I wasn’t expecting much from this manga. However, I enjoyed this more than I should have despite for the lack of purpose, explanations, and realism. I’m going to state it plainly, the world building is tr@sh, the ability for the story to stay on one character/topic for an extended time is tr@sh, and the main character is idiotic and childish. Despite for being an isekai trope, it’s rarely significant to the story andfeels out of place; instead, a regression story would’ve fit much better into the storyline.

Regardless of the flaws, the manga is a surprisingly wholesome slice of life read without being too cheesy/cliché. To come into this manga with an expectation of breathtaking character development, expansion, and other attributes of a well-written story is the wrong approach; but if the motive was to read this to pass time without being bored, then this is a great story.
