Golden Kamuy offers a rare glimpse into Ainu culture, which is tied heavily into the overall story. The characters are very well written and when the show is serious, it's great. The humor style, however... the show can't seem to go ten minutes without making a dick or poop joke or having someone run around naked. After four seasons of this, I was seriously considering whether the character drama and Ainu cultural exploration were worth putting up with this juvenile silliness. In the next-to-last episode of Season 4, a character finds a serial killer... by masturbating. That's where I dropped the series without a second thought.I did come back to watch only the main character scenes of the last two episodes... only for Asirpa to have a flashback to her father showing her a constellation that was literally a dick and balls.

Don't get me wrong, I'm glad I watched it, but when Season 5 drops I'm not picking it back up.
