I Can't Choose a Childhood Friend · review
It was... not that interesting. The protagonist is essentially exactly the same person as Aijou Rentarou(100GF), with essentially the exactly same plot. It is quite literally the 'You will encounter lots of girls, and you have to date, or she will die', but with slightly higher stakes all over again. It has the same register of humor, and the same 'all the girls really like each other and want to get along' subplot, where the girls passively bond, and the artstyle and facial expressions are very similar. It's the same thing again, but not as good. Every single thing that happens is predictable to thepoint of being almost contrived. It's oddly enjoyable in spite of that, probably because it's a cheap copy of something enjoyable, but eh.
