Story: 8/10 The reincarnation premise offers a lot of potential for changing the future. The MC's journey to gain power using his foreknowledge provides solid progression. Lore around the murim world and factions is excellent. However, some side plots feel tacked on and the end goal can get muddled at times. Art: 9/10 Beautiful art and fluid, impactful action sequences. Character designs are distinctive and environments are vividly rendered. Great visuals during emotional moments too. Characters: 7/10 The cunning yet principled MC is an appealing lead. Allies like the merchant Lee Ue-Chae are standouts. Villains are a bit one-note so far but serviceable. Room for more nuance as story progresses. Enjoyment:8/10
An exhilarating murim revenge story focused on an underdog's rise to power. Satisfying progression and stellar visuals, but characters and plot could use more depth. Still a very entertaining read.
