Dragon Raja II: The Mourner's Eyes · review
An excellent blend of mystical elements and the modern world with top-tier pacing. It has everything: mystery, thrill, romance all seamlessly woven into the story. Some criticize the MC for lacking confidence, but that’s what makes him human. He’s not your typical OP, aura-farming protagonist. He’s afraid, unsure but never lets down those who believe in him and stands up when it matters most. I usually write long reviews, but not this time. Just go watch it. You won’t regret it. I honestly wanted to end my review with the paragraph above, but MAL requires a longer review, so here’s a bit more. One of the biggeststrengths of this anime is its well-rounded side characters, many of whom have enough personality and depth to be main characters in their own stories. The music is phenomenal, the animation quality is absolutely top-tier, and the character designs are memorable. It even nails the occasional light-hearted comic moments without disrupting the tone. The only downside? You might struggle a bit to find accurate subtitles. Also worth noting, another one already confirmed. So now's the perfect time to jump in.
