Studio Cabana · review
Plot: Despite how this shoujo series may appear at first glance, the plot is not a soft and simple romance. This underrated series skillfully portrays very deep and emotional topics of toxic, reliant relationships and other youthful struggles. While the manga does mix in these topics among recognizable shoujo elements and occasional fluffy interactions, these characters must first overcome emotional obstacles before they can achieve a true happiness. If you're looking for a shoujo with depth, and are okay with getting your heart broken a little bit, then you will really enjoy this manga! I personally was very touched by the very realistic and heartfelt topics foundin this beautiful story.
Characters:
The FL is your usual, bubbly heroine, but her meddlesome personality becomes a light in the dark for the ML—who has his own shares of unique struggles. He isn't just the usual dark, gloomy tsundere, but actually has life experiences and personal struggles that are a realistic cause of his attitude. There are also some antagonistic characters in this series that I found to be very well-written!
Art:
The art style of this series is pretty! It isn't too complicated, but still looks polished and fitting for a shoujo. The character designs look very nice, too.
