Review of Devilman: Crybaby

The personification of "a little too much." Everything just seemed a little too overboard for me. Memorable anime for all of the wrong reasons. If it does really stay true to the manga, I honestly don't think I would have liked the manga either. It felt like there was too much push to have impactful moments, which kind of watered them down. Honestly, I did not enjoy the ending either. However, I think it would have been a lot more intense and even more enjoyable if the buildup was not near infinite. (Pretty much the same issue I have with Gurren Lann.)
