Review of Gangsta.

A literal MASTERPIECE imo. I love Gangsta with my whole heart. It's probably one of the anime that I fell deeply in love with. Everything with it, is a masterpiece. I love genres such as violence, action, gangs, mafia, adult, power, money, etc. And Gangsta had everything. Not only that, but all the female characters are so strong, both mentally and physically. Another plus point is that they're all beautiful too. The main characters, Worick, Nicolas and Alex are great protagonists with such an interesting backstory. All of them has their own strengths and work well together. Every single character in Gangsta is amazing intheir own way. The author really did a good job with the characters.

The soundtrack was amazing as well. There were definitely some scenes where I got chills from the background music. I really want to talk about the voice actors because all of them really made a big impact on Gangsta, especially Nicolas's VA, Kenjiro Tsuda. He literally had to dub a deaf character and did an amazing job. But of course, all the VA's did an amazing job too.

The art style is so unique and mature, if you know what I mean. Often, most art styles to anime has this kind of cute and childlike vibe to it. But for Gangsta, the art style seemed more mature and dark because the theme is more adult-like.

Gangsta might be one of the few anime that made me go read the manga after finishing it. And let me tell ya, IT WAS WORTH IT. The manga was no different from the anime, and was even better!

The plot was GOOD. And there were so much going on which made me so drawn in when I was watching it. It was a bit confusing when all the gangs was introduced but after understanding it, it was even better. I loved how well written Worick and Nicolas's backstory was. Including Alex's backstory. And how it is connected to the present.

Every single one of you should read the manga. It gets even BETTER! You should also read Marco's side manga, because it's connected to what's happening afterwards in the manga.

Props to the author, Kohske, for making and drawing this intruging and lovely manga while being VERY ill.

I would definitely give this anime a 10/10
