Review of My Love Story!!

For me, this anime is an absolute masterpiece. I saw some negative reviews and the negative points really disappointed me. It seems like some people expected some twisted drama storyline, but the story is basic but I mean it in an absolutely positive way. A lot of romance animes tend to overshoot it for me, they create a super unrealistic story or events to give each event value. But this anime reminded me of the time of my first love a feeling I didn't have in a long time. A feeling when you fall in love with somebody and you are unsure if he/she likes you back, you want tospend them with them and even the little things give you pleasure. You start talking about boring topics just so you are talking with the person, you find a reason to spend time and so on, I think a lot of people can agree that this feeling of young love if you experience it at school for example is something wonderful.

This anime shows young love in a very wholesome way, there is no drama, no big twists, it is just people who like each other and do their first steps with each other.
Most people remember their first real love, their first hug/kiss because the first time was special for us, this anime takes you back to this time and shows you how it went for these characters in a cute wholesome way.
And it also gives you enough scenes to laugh about, the main character is super over the top but extremely likable, a guy you would enjoy having in your friend circle a guy who you want to see happy because he values other people above him.

SO I really can't recommend this anime enough.
