Review of Sword Art Online the Movie: Ordinal Scale

Maybe I had too high of an expectation coming into this just because it's a movie, but yeah, the story was a little bit disappointing. This time, the story revolves around an AR game instead of the VRMMOs we got to see throughout, so it was interesting at first. But if I had to briefly tell someone about this movie, it's basically a "side quest". It may not be a mere "side quest" as according to the visual novel story line, but it definitely felt like it and was definitely executed that way as well with having to fit in everything within 2 hours. Thefighting scenes and the backgrounds are beautiful as usual - I honestly saw nothing wrong with them as a viewer.

It wasn't bad, but that's pretty much it, "not bad".
