Ah, Amnesia..probably one of the most boring shows that I have watched. Before I start, I must say that I do indeed know that the writers for this anime had basically nothing to base this anime on; after all, it was an otome game, which can sometimes be quite superficial in terms of plot. However, they basically did nothing with it. Plot: When I first started watching Amnesia, it was because my guilty pleasure is watching reverse harem anime. Shows like Ouran, Kamigami no Asobi, and Free!! (if it can be defined as anything other than sports anime), which are on the more decent side of the spectrum. However, had I known that Amnesia had such a useless plot such as Diabolik Lovers, I wouldn't even have started watching it.

I thought this anime was going to be about a girl getting her memories back. That is not what I saw. What I saw while watching this anime was a girl going from boyfriend to boyfriend, staying clueless the whole time. After all of this idiocy, the writers suddenly decided to cram a strange psycho policeman (??) into the mess and then try to pretend that the anime had a plot the entire time. I stopped caring completely about the anime around episode 5, but I forced myself to continue so that I could find out why she had amnesia. When I finished the anime, I thought to myself "they explained it a bit...but I still have no idea what was really going on in that anime." Because her ex-boyfriend has magical powers or something that make time repeat itself. And people get thrown in a well. To this day, I haven't bothered to rewatch the abomination that is amnesia.

Art:
I have to say, the art for amnesia was really nice. The artstyle in general was very appealing, and one of the reasons why I picked up this anime in the first place. Only, the dudes all seemed to have the color scheme of "one unique color plus black".
Sound:
The opening was catchy, but all the other soundtrack didn't really come to my attention.

Characters:
Okay, I know that the heroines of reverse harems often have really weak personalities. And 'nameless protagonist' is a prime example of a weak personality. We know literally nothing about her. She's just this ultimate doormat that doesn't stand up for herself when people assault/bully her (like being attacked with scissors and being locked IN A CAGE) and doesn't seem to have a conscience when she is, in a weird way, dating 5 (??) people at once. The other characters are just plain old strange. I don't find any of their personalities attractive. I didn't even bother to remember their names. Yellow is too obsessive/super creepy, white/blue dude can't seem to decide if he's the supportive wingman or the ladykiller, red is just....apathetic (??), and green...green seems like a tsundere, but they focus on him a lot less than they do on, say, yellow, so it's kinda hard to tell what he's all about. Orion is almost as mysterious/shallow as the protagonist. He's a spirit...but he does basically nothing but tell the protagonist "oh hello you have amnesia" although it might be pretty easy to tell if you have no memories whatsoever. And then there's psycho cop dude...I can't even talk about him. I don't get him at all.

I didn't enjoy this anime. It's not as bad as some, but it really is one of the dumbest things I've watched.
