Review of Devilman: Crybaby

I just wanted to commend Netflix for creating a wonderfully horrifying, terrifically artistic, and beautifully inappropriate show called Devilman Crybaby. I'm amazed that a mainstream website like Netflix would allow such a splendid, gore, sexual show like that on air. I wouldn't recommend the show to anyone with a weak stomach at all, but for anyone interested in a unique, out of the box, and horrifyingly gorgeous show, Devilman Crybaby is the one. The story is very short, a little bit disjointed, but classic of Japanese short anime. The art style is very dynamic, so it is less detailed than some people will like, however, Idid not mind. I thought it was beautiful in its own way. The soundtrack is very epic and well done. Characters are well developed and you end up liking most of the characters, even the bad ones. I thoroughly enjoyed the show, even if it was twisted and outlandish.

They do a fantastic job of creating amazing characters, but it is very tragic and I only wished for more of a happy ending. Overall, the only thing I could have wanted more was a happy ending, it was so sad...
