Hajimete no Gal finally comes to an end, and when compared to its counterparts in the Summer 2017 line-up, this series has its own ups and downs. Here's purely my personal thoughts about Hajimete no Gal: Story: I appreciate the attempt of the studio to change the storyline from the original work, but I have to say, it's quite a mess to be honest. No clear character development, this anime is all about the MC's daily life, and basically how bad he is when it comes to relationships. Bland storyline with tons of fanservices, this is a cliché-fest anime but somehow still enjoyable. 6/10. Art: The artwas quite good at the beginning, but my god did they run out of budget or something?! Distant views is crappy as hell, with the characters' face all got distorted in some janky-wacky ways, the background was okay, but the motion looks like they were all robots. And hell Nene-chan's...Speechless. I think they only got Yame right. 3/10.

Sound: I really enjoyed the opening: Hajimete no SEASON by Junjou no Afilia. Catchy as hell. 8/10.

Character: Junichi and Yame completed their roles there, with Junichi's a typical, normal high school student who has a relationship with a hot-looking, attractive girl. Yame in contrary is actually caring and somewhat naive. The chemistry between them makes this series actually enjoyable. The supporting characters are a mess with a secretly-a-streamer-and-a-masochist girl, a puberty-hits-her-too-hard girl, a pedophile, an attractive blond guy with no screentime, and a quite dangerous friend who has unexpected plans. 7/10

Overall, the anime is quite enjoyable, for someone just want a laugh after a long day. I wouldn't recommend this to everyone, but it's okay to watch.
