Review of Chrono Crusade
A delightfully eerie aesthetic, likeable characters, and a riveting premise, yet Chrno Crusade falls just short of it's potential The beautiful 1920s setting is home to the unconventional tale of an exorcist and a demon's team-up, their interactions along with those of many eccentric side-characters bring a lot of humor to a series with a melancholic core, however this is about where their characterization ends as very little time is dedicated to their developement. This really dampens it's more emotional scenes as it doesn't feel like you've had the time to get to know the characters and get attached to them The pacing is also quite hitor miss. While there is an overarching story, most of the series feels episodic to the point that details of the main plot get lost in it, resulting in a narrative tha feels uncoheasive and janky
