Seeing Androids like 14 and 15 in action gives us a clearer idea of ​​how dangerous Androids 17 and 18 are in the main saga. Furthermore, the film provides a logical justification for why Dr. Gero didn't attack earlier: these initial models simply didn't have enough power to face Goku. It's a simple but effective explanation that enriches the overallcontext.

This narrative coherence is so well integrated that, if they wanted, this film could even be considered canonical in certain aspects. Not necessarily the main fights and events, but the existence of these additional Androids and their power levels make perfect sense within the original story. They are, in a way, prototypes of a project that Dr. Gero perfected until he arrived at the "definitive" Androids we know. The fact that Androids 14 and 15 are significantly weaker isn't a flaw in the film; it's actually a smart choice. This reinforces the idea of ​​technological progression and explains why the villain didn't use them before: it would have been a useless attack. This simple detail helps connect the film to the internal logic of the saga and makes it much more satisfying to watch.

And of course, I can't forget the scene that became a meme in Brazil: the moment when Goku gets punched in the groin, lol. I simply died laughing because it's absurdly unexpected. Dragon Ball has always had physical humor, but this specific blow was so random and sudden that it ends up being hilarious. It's one of those scenes that sticks in your memory just for the surprise factor.

The fight animation is fluid and well-choreographed, the story is direct and efficient, the characters have good individual moments, and everything fits together in a well-balanced way. This is one of those films where you realize that care was taken: nothing seems rushed, nothing seems thrown together, and the pacing is great from beginning to end. I hesitated between giving it a 7 or an 8, but in the end I decided on an 8 because I really thought it was all very good, especially considering that I'm watching the films in sequence and the comparison with the previous film (which was quite bad) only made this one shine even more. It's a huge leap in quality.

É uma daquelas ideias que ampliam o universo de Dragon Ball sem contradizer nada do que já existia, adicionando camadas interessantes à história. Ao ver Androides como o 14 e o 15 em ação, passamos a ter uma noção mais clara do quão perigosos são os Androides 17 e 18 na saga principal. Além disso, o filme dá uma justificativa lógica para o fato de o Dr. Gero não ter atacado antes: esses modelos iniciais simplesmente não tinham poder suficiente para enfrentar o Goku. É uma explicação simples, mas eficaz, e que enriquece o contexto geral.

Essa coerência narrativa é tão bem encaixada que, se quisessem, esse filme até poderia ser considerado canônico em certos aspectos. Não necessariamente as lutas e acontecimentos principais, mas a existência desses Androides adicionais e seus níveis de poder fazem todo sentido dentro da história original. Eles são, de certa forma, protótipos de um projeto que o Dr. Gero foi aperfeiçoando até chegar aos Androides “definitivos” que conhecemos.

O fato de os Androides 14 e 15 serem significativamente mais fracos não é uma falha do filme, na verdade é uma escolha inteligente. Isso reforça a ideia de progressão tecnológica e explica por que o vilão não os usou antes: seria um ataque inútil. Esse detalhe simples ajuda a conectar o filme com a lógica interna da saga e deixa tudo muito mais satisfatório de assistir.

E claro, não tem como não mencionar a cena que virou meme no Brasil: o momento em que Goku leva um soco nas partes íntimas kkkkk. Eu simplesmente morri de rir porque é absurdamente inesperado. Dragon Ball sempre teve humor físico, mas esse golpe específico foi tão aleatório e súbito que acaba sendo hilário. É daquelas cenas que ficam na memória só pelo fator surpresa.

A animação das lutas é fluida e bem coreografada, a história é direta e eficiente, os personagens têm bons momentos individuais, e tudo se encaixa de forma bem equilibrada. Este é um daqueles filmes em que você percebe que houve cuidado: nada parece corrido, nada parece jogado, e o ritmo é ótimo do início ao fim.

Fiquei relutando entre nota 7 ou 8, mas no fim decidi por 8, porque realmente achei tudo muito bom, ainda mais considerando que estou assistindo os filmes em sequência e a comparação com o filme anterior (que foi bem ruim) só fez este aqui brilhar ainda mais. É um salto de qualidade enorme.
