School Days is personally one of my favorite anime, but when it comes to this ONA: It was released before the TV series and was made to promote the game, but it has a lot of shortcomings. I’ve watched promotional anime before, Vampire Holmes being one example, but I think the School Days ONA was successful. My score is low because it could have been much better. Even though I love the TV series so much, this ONA covers very little, which is why I gave it a low score. Summary: Makoto likes a girl and confesses to her. It’s only related to the first episode of themain series.

The reason I watched it is because I like to complete everything in the anime I watch, and I think this one was nice. Even though I gave it a low score, it was just interpreting the first episode from a slightly different perspective.
Finally:
If you’re someone who likes to finish all the side/extra content of an anime, or if you watched the anime a long time ago and want to see the very beginning of everything, I definitely recommend it. But if you don’t feel the need for that and just want to focus on the main story, I wouldn’t recommend watching it.
