After dropping the tv series Serial Experiment Lain, I have decided to give this a try, and it was certainly a lot better than its predecessors. "I want to talk to somebody. Who can I talk to?" You can not expect much from this 18 pages one-shot since it's so short, but the mangaka succeeded in crafting art and abstract ideas in this. Lain starts questioning reality and her thoughts. This one-shot also includes characters not seen in the anime (from the 9 episodes I've seen, maybe I should give it the benefit of the doubt?) such as "god". A very quick read, not even in five minutes,but it delivers something to think about.
