"Don't Toy with Me, Miss Nagatoro" is one of these shows that can immediately discourage you from watching it after only the first episode. However, it does not deserve such fate. As a fan and up-to-date reader of the manga, I'd like to share my thoughts about this lovely series. STORY - 8 --------------> The plot mainly revolves around clumsy male MC and his under classmen female friends, with the direct focus on one of them who is obviously titular character Nagatoro. As I mentioned earlier, this show can easily throw you off from watching it. Especially in the first few episodes where without going too deep intodetails, main girl is brutally bullying the MC mentally, which causes him to cry a lot. However, when you give it a little bit more time (more episodes), it turns out that it is not only about humiliating nerds by popular and cool girls. This particular season (hope for more) consists of small stories and only one big or rather medium arc at the end of it, but that is a fair amount of content for 12 eps.

ART - 9
-------------->
Art, most of the time flawless. As a manga reader I am reliefed and satisfied since art is truly faithful to the source. Choice of colours etc. everything works together. What I must praise are Nagatoro's face expressions which I believe were the most difficult ones to transfer from comic pages to screens. Another wonderful aspect of art are eye designs (especially Nagatoro's), they are just amazing to look at.

SOUND - 9
-------------->
OST is indeed marvellous. Opening titled "EASY LOVE" sang by the VA of the main girl is easily one of my favourites and it fits Nagatoro's personality first-rate. Ending as always is slower than intro but is equally good and catchy.

CHARACTER - 9
-------------->
With the progress of the show we can see the development of the characters as well as growth of relationships between them (mainly between main duo). As stated up above what you have to do is to give them more time and you will genuinely fall in love with the characters shown here. Nagatoro's bullying quickly becomes something more deep and engaging. It starts to be rather a tsundere teasing rather than horrible aggression.

ENJOYMENT - 8
-------------->
I had a lot of fun watching this anime. I would without a doubt recommend you to watch it. However, it is not the show for everyone. For some people it might be suprisingly enjoyable experience but for others it might be a bucket full of trashy humour, fanservice and harsh bullying moments.
