as a fisherman I absolutely enjoyed this anime, it fondly reminded me of teaching others how to fish and the trial and tribulations of the sport. It is definitely one of those animes you will either love or hate, it was one of those "I will watch it and pay attention, but its not a must watch". If it gets another season it will be interesting to see where it goes, tome the story should have been made into a shorter small series with a hard ending. The technical aspects of the anime: music, animation and overall flow are decent but nothing super special.
