Review of Horimiya

"The sweet, slightly sour taste of youth" Horimiya is a story made to soften the hearts of viewers with a beautiful high school sweetheart romance. There isn't a big conflict in the plot, It tries to be as positive and escapist as possible. It portrays the everyday issues of growing up in adolescence and their insecurities, which are deepened throughout the anime along with each character's feelings. Despite a story that is not super developed, it brings what it proposes. It's not a narrative to expect breaks in expectation, it's something made to accompany the lightness of how this beautiful romance develops.
