Story 6/10: The plot of Horiyma follows a couple of high school students and their interactions with each other. The main focus for the first half of the series follows Hori and Miya, and how they eventually end up together while the second half of the show tends to focus more on the side characters. The show is not afraid to tackle conflict and does so even if it ends up hurting someone in the show; however, there are some episodes that feel off and seem to focus on aspects that aren't all that interesting. For example, the show likes to go back and lookat Miyamura's past A LOT and I personally don't see the need to. It gets a bit drawn out and boring after the first 7 episodes.

Art 10/10: Well the art is visually amazing to look at and with animation getting better and better Horimiya is no exception. Cloverworks has worked on shows like The Promised Neverland and Wonder Egg Priority so it's not a surprise to see that the art in this show holds up high.

Sound 9/10: The OST for this show is really well done. The opening and ending for Horimiya are bops and I didn't get tired of it. The music in the show itself is also really good and really adds emotion in the scenarios that it needs to.

Character 7/10: The characters are the main focus of the show and even with it only being 13 episodes I feel that they fleshed out many of the characters really well. The side characters I didn't really care for at the beginning of the show became some of my favorites, with Yuki and Remi being prime examples. On the other hand, the opposite can be said for Makio and Akane who are just there and don't really add anything to the show.

Enjoyment 7/10: I enjoyed the show and thought it was a pretty fun watch. With the exception of one or two episodes, it was pretty solid in what the show wanted to accomplish. Which is to focus on the relationships of the group and how they grow together. Short and Sweer.

Overall 8/10: Pretty good anime, I'm still deciding between a 7 or an 8 . Give the show a try you might like it.
