Review of Please Put Them On, Takamine-san

Unpretentious Reviews I expected to get through half of the first episode rolling my eyes all the while, and drop this anime based on it's premise. I was so surprised by how entertaining the show ended up being, I finished it in one day. This show is a porn-y romance. Like B-Gata H-Kei, but with the porn dial turned up. Of course, Yamada from BGHK was so over the top hilarious I ended up liking that anime as well. I usually dislike lecherous shows, because it adds nothing to the show, and just seems exploitative against women. But with PleasePut Them On, Takamine-san, a central plot point IS the prurience, so it gets a pass in my mind. Same with BGHK.

The time reversal animation was over-used, and that was kind of annoying. Nothing stood out as a Wow! or a What? moment. Still, the show was entertaining enough I may well watch it again sometime.
