Review of Vinland Saga Season 2

Let me start by saying this show is a much watch. This is objectively a perfect show with essentially no flaws. This season is very different from season 1. It’s slower and takes a deeper look into the character emotions. I can honestly say I was not expecting to love this as much as I did. I always loved Season 1, but I loved it for the action, decision making, and character motivations playing out against each other. To see the characters now go through wide ranging arcs at such a slow pace was truly breathtaking. Thorfinn’s character arc was perfectly setup by the lastepisode of season 1. I was so curious what he would do after losing his purpose. To see him struggle to find that new purpose, and get help finding it with the help of Einar was beautiful. Needless to say, Thorfinn will be highly considered for anime male character of the year. His character arc was truly full circle.
This is one of the greatest seasons of anime ever created. You are doing a disservice not watching this series
