Review of The Eminence in Shadow Season 2

I was really looking forward to this anime in its second season, but this really disappointed me in the second season, there are too many minuses and it's hard to understand here. The first thing at the beginning of the episode was suddenly being on the battlefield like that and without any explanation at all, to be honest I was very confused, what was actually going on in this story? there is only a brief preview of the previous season and does not give the audience the information they need at all. The show just massacred, yes, even though in the first season massacres were normal,I think in the second season it was too much, blood everywhere! And body parts too!
And at that time I was still confused and trying to digest the storyline, but unfortunately there was only continuing massacre and killing, really failed to convey what actually happened to the audience for the opening of the story in this second season.

The next thing is the presence of a prostitute in it, and the addition of elements of nudity, which in my opinion is not really necessary, just a little fan service is enough, and not openly like this, I'm sorry but the selling point of this anime is not Echi's side, but rather the Shadow figure who always does things beyond reason.

The storyline also feels less consistent, when the battle between the Vampires just ends, and returns to negotiations which are very far from the main story. especially when Shadow met Delta who was dressed completely in open clothes, and ended up carrying out another massacre by randomly killing people just to comply with Delta's requests.

Honestly, I've only reached episode 5, but I didn't find anything interesting at all here!
Starting from failed story telling!
The killing and blood everywhere is too much!
The addition of the Whore element is not really needed at all!

This applies to two story plots, the first about vampires and the second about John Smith, I think the first plot conveys the story less clearly to the audience.
For the plot of the second story, it's good that I was able to digest the contents of the story a little, even though in the main plot the story just ended without any further information.
And the last plot, I think this is the most important, apart from the two plots but which are like filler and have nothing to do with the main story, This third plot is what I am really waiting for, because it only shows the actions of the characters behind the real shadows.

In my opinion, there are too many minuses compared to the first season, hopefully the movie will be made even better.
