Review of The Weakest Tamer Began a Journey to Pick Up Trash

I watched this anime between 23rd and 25th December 2025, and it became my 91st anime of 2025. This is a different kind of isekai. In most isekai anime, the protagonist comes with full memories of their past life and becomes overpowered. But in this anime, Ivy, the main character, only has hazy, whisper-like memories of her former life. If I say too much, it will become a spoiler. The story follows a girl named Ivy who has to hide in the forest to save her life. There she finds a slime that can eat trash. The story feels very calm and beautiful. Even though there issome action, politics, comedy, and harsh reality, the overall vibe is peaceful and comforting. I definitely recommend it.

If you like sad origin stories and then slowly seeing small moments of happiness with cozy vibes, you should watch this. It is a true underdog story that can make you emotional and also bring a smile to your face. I give it 7 out of 10.
