Review of High School of the Dead

“If you absolutely need something to watch then this will due, but it’s BAD”. Ok 1st off I’m kind of a Niel Degrasse Tyson when it comes to movies/ shows sometime so I’ll just start off by saying all the science and world powers action were beyond idiocy. So I won’t even go into all that but if you anything like me it’ll either make you laugh or say wtf. The story is just badly written The reasoning behind 90% of why the do things is supremely stupid.The girl who’s supposed to be the smartest one is very annoying and judging by actions isn’t even smart. Best part is when someone got smacked that should’ve happened way more.

The animation is pretty good. There’s really only one annoying character and it’s a classic zombie meta. But the randomness and the logic behind peoples actions just kinda ruin it. Then (spoiler) the one black guy they throw in there is super random and just there to a horny boob grabbing villain that gets killed. Which is super random because it’s Japan but this black guys is obviously American lol gave him braces a chain and a durag. If you get the randomness in that scene it pretty much equates to the plot of all 12 episodes.

In conclusion. If they ever got a season 2 I would start writing a show because obviously people are just giving out money lol. But OVERALL watchable not enjoyable definitely helped pass time while I was multitasking. Oh and I guess if you like ecchi this is okay but honestly not much of that either. Classics like zombies always have potential so a bit of a let down. You may enjoy it though.
