Ranma ½: The Movie 2 - The Battle of Togenkyo: Rescue the Brides! · review
Though not *AS* enjoyable to me as the first movie, "Nihao, My Concubine" was definitely worth watching for the more hardcore Ranma 1/2 fan. The shenanigans portrayed by Ranma, Ukiyo, and Shampoo as members of Toma's harem are hilarious and Mousse is given far more screen time than usual, playing a greater role and giving us more of his background. The story isn't Takahashi Rumiko's best work, but fans of Maison Ikkoku will enjoy hearing the end theme song "A Piece of Love" by Picasso (known for their wonderful ED "Cinema" from the second season). Overall I'd say it's worth watching at leastonce, but for me once every few decades or so has been enough.
