Review of Sword Art Online

This is one of the most abhorrent shows I've ever watched. This is the epitome of awful writing and catering to anime fans, by which I mean there is a main character; Kirito, who always wins, barely faces any long-lasting tribulations, and always thinks completely rationally. I think this is why this anime is so popular. I can imagine someone watching themselves, thinking Kirito is so cool for teleporting to this magic world and ruling at everything. If it does make people feel better about themselves good, it worked, but it's still a pandering piece of shit. The actual contents of the anime hit prettymuch all of the check marks for a quirky little anime, and there are a million better shows to watch. I would only recommend if you're an anime historian who needs to see this for researching autism.
