Review of Neon Genesis Evangelion

The first half of this stuff is so good. The 90's anime nostalgia kicks in. The eye-candy frames, the good looking characters with daddy issues, the shaddy characters with mommy issues, the mecha giant bot thing is on point. The story has a dark tune of secret agenda vibe just how I like to take my anime. Everything is running smoothly when the show goes psychological bananas on you hardcore style. 20 mins of existential crisis followed by more 20 mins of existential crisis followed by more... And if you actually stay for the last couple of episodes your brain actually can become a banana.You might need a terapist after this ride but it is worth it.
