Review of Bakemonogatari

At first I thought this anime was kind of weird, like most people would, and up till the end it still was but once I realized I shouldn't try to compare this with other series, I saw that it was good in its own style. Each character's background story is good and mysterious. It takes a while before you fully understand what's going on. It's a detail but I liked how they changed the intro depending on the arc. Bakemonogatari's trump card is its dialogues. Sometimes they're a bit fast, maybe a bit complicated but they're usually interesting and even funny. This show uses some weird animation andfrankly I don't really like it but it probably fits the story. Some images are nothing but one colour and some text. Even photographs are used.

It takes some getting used to but I eventually started liking this anime.
