Review of Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day

Here is my review! I will try to be as concise as possible: The things I liked: The soundtrack is nice and the art is fine, the story as well but with certain requirements. The things I disliked: This could have been a much better show if it had taken itself a bit more seriously, I think the topics touched on in this anime deserve a more mature approach, whether it be for the characters or in general for some of the '''moe''' moments here and there.What I think is the most important here:

This show gets so much better once you start seeing it through the light of grief and mental illness rather than get stuck on the cutesy stuff.

I was tempted to quit it after a few episodes, but thinking about it in a different way really let me enjoy it much more.

I hope you will be able to see it that way as well.
