Couple Words: Fresh perspective on a modern issue Short Review: This is definitely an anime to watch if you are a fan of character development and stories that can relate to you personally. First off the music fit this anime perfectly and the opening song has already become one of my favorites. The characters were drawn realistically and each fit their personality. What makes this anime so good is that while you think it focuses on the death and reappearance of Menma, it's actually more centered on how the main characters have begun to drift apart as they have gotten older. It tackles the issues ofdealing with the death of a loved one and growing up beautifully in a way that still's enjoyable to watch.

Tip: In order to really enjoy this anime, don't focus on how Menma is there and what she is. The only thing you need to focus on is why she's there and put the rest together on your own.
