Natsu e no Tobira · review
This was such a gorgeous movie. I was caught off guard by how much I actually ended up enjoying and getting emotional over this. It's certainly not the best story, but despite that the visuals and sound design were amazing. Even in the short span of time of this film, I found myself becoming invested in the story of the characters and not even realizing how much time was passing. Rather than feeling rushed with its limited time, there was a bit of a slow start, but I think it worked for the energy of this film. Very much a dark story, it's important tobe aware that there is grooming/pedophilia, attempted rape, suicide, and self harm in this film. I would still recommend it if you are interested in artsy stuff and are ready for the dark dives throughout this film.
