Review of Mobile Suit Gundam 00

This Review is going to cover both season 1 and season 2 So they told me about gundam 00 a long time ago and to say the truth i wasnt sure if i wanted to watch it or not and i put in the "waiting list".That proved to be a mistake because this anime is truly a diamond among the mecha genre series. Story:The story of gundam 00 is about political and millitary conflicts during the 24th century(but it goes more than this as the story progresses).The idea behind all of these is to end wars which tarnish humanity for thousand of years. This task is givento the paramilitary organization celestial being. What i really like is that the enemy is not always clear because the allies can become enemies and enemies allies and at the same time there are people WHO support both the good and the bad guys.There some things though which arent realistic even for a mecha sci fy anime.What happens in the end of season 1(that affects all the second season) was unexpected for the three major millitary and political powers which fought hard to not become like "this" But in the end is a serious story with a dark tone and surely will captivate people despite few flaws that you may encounter

Animation:Not much to say , the art is at least gorgeous.The lighting effects are great and the mecha battles surely are mouth watered.The reused animation scenes are very few and not important at all to make you not like this anime.In the end if one of your criteria for choosing an anime concerns animation quality you will not face any problem with this one

Sound: The sound was perfect.I enjoyed most of the opening and ending songs. The sound director knew when the scene was for a dramatic,fighting,post battle or romance song.And every ost he gave us was very good and unique.
Characters: Well this is the most interesting part because it is the
characters that drive this story . Gundam 00 has a big cast and the thing is that most of them have a good development from the start to finish.The idea that every season should have (a) year(s) gap is great because we see the characters to change physically too.Think about it we have anime with 10 seasons and the characters are still the same and we have anime that they cant even properly develop their main cast.This doesnt happen here.
Here i must also give congrats to the voice actors, they did an excellent job and they made me believe for a short time that what i was watching was Real.Not to mention that few voice actors even from the original gundam return to take voice roles from A.D universe.

Enjoyment:What i can say, i really love this anime even that is mecha there are more things to look forward here.For this reason i suggest this anime to all anime fans even if they are familliar with the gundam series and even they like or not the mecha genre
