Review of School Days

Okay, this is my first review because I never really thought about writing reviews on Anime before but maybe it would be fun for people to see what I think. So "School Days" in my eyes feels like an Anime meant to make you enjoy it at the beginning and slowly dread the Anime and the characters even if at the beginning, the characters might seem really good. This Anime the first time and after the rewatch of it, which I did for this review, turned our to be something that messed with my head the more I watched through it, the last 3 episodesbeing the slowest to get through and most suspenseful for me. This show really messed with my head when I finished it, sat in the shower honestly depressed a little that I rewatched it. But atleast I'll never be the main character.

Story: Honestly, the story seems fairly good I'd say because well it shows that you can't just toy with people's feelings and think it's okay to continue like that. It really shows how people can turn out when given so much attention, when the wrong person is given so much attention and what they do with it. So yea, I'd give the story a 6, it was fairly good and honestly meant something and was one of the actual good things about this show. 6/10

Art: The art, well there isn't much to say about it, it looks like a kid drew it after taking art class for anime or something, like they just started drawing it. The characters all look the same at times, you can atleast tell them apart by there facial expressions because the characters keep the same facial expressions before the climax atleast. One time that I'd say the facial expressions made me happy and I enjoyed it was when characters are showing that they're really depressed like to the point that their eyes are really dark and just, it shows feeling and I love the expressions on those parts so much. But sadly besides all that, it's pretty low. 4/10

Sound: I liked the sound a lot actually, it really set the mood at times. Like when something sad happens, it will put on the best music for it which was awesome because I can't say the same for a lot of other Anime. Now for the opening, it was happy and I guess it could be good because it doesn't prepare you for the hell your brain will go through. I didn't like the opening and found myself skipping it so yea. 7/10

Characters: Oh my god, I loved a lot of characters at the beginning but throughout the series, characters just line up one by one to get hated. Like you'll have such an enjoyable character and you'll think they're nice and everything and wouldn't fall for the main character but they do anyways and regret it and then do it again. The main character must be a god because he's been with every single girl in the classroom, I was even worried for the little sister of that one girl I forgot the name of, I was scared she was gonna sleep with him somehow like I was scared lmao. 2/10

Enjoyment: Honestly I enjoyed it in the beginning, I was happy for everyone, had a smile on my face and was basically speeding through the anime in order enjoy every single second, until you further into it and you want to rip your eyes out. 2/10

Overall: I'm never rewatching this anime ever again. 2/10

Notes about the anime:
-The camera angles were interesting even when the anime got more and more dreadful to watch, like you'll be mad that the main character exists and the anime tries shoves the camera up a girl's skirt lmao.
-The main character is the worst character I've ever seen, so wimpy, whiny, no backbone, doesn't deserve a girl, or even friends at that. And yes, the Anime shows that.
-Kokoro, the little sister I was talking about and the main characters friend were the only good characters because they were pure and didn't do anything wrong.
-There is a cliffhanger every episode, hell of a good job on that they did, that was honestly one of my favorite things is a cliffhanger.
