A lot of my friends forced me into watching Bakemonogatari so here's my review. It was aired in 2009 and one of the most unique aspects of this show is the animation. The animation style is unique and eye-catching, with a mix of traditional animation and still images that create a visual style that sets it apart from other anime. For me, sometimes it could be quite hard to follow up especially during the fast paced action scenes. The plot of bakemonogatari revolves around a high school student named Koyomi Araragi who encounters various supernatural beings, or "apparitions", and the people they have affected. Each episodefocuses on a different character, and the series is divided into several arcs that all contribute to the overarching story. The writing is clever and engaging, with plenty of witty banter and unexpected twists that keep the audience on their toes. Tbh, I didn't really get the point of all that but yea ok. I don't really understand why araragi just keeps meeting up with a girl and helps her out. The characters motives could be confusing and inconsistent
But one thing i like about bakemonogatari are the sound effects and music tracks. The VA is good too.
Overall it's fine but i dont think it should be so high rated. Maybe i just dont have a taste for it, but this is how i feel about the anime.

signing off,
flashyy
