The manga is better, but anime was almost as good, this anime is a gem for anyone who loves supernatural and creepy stories, the anime has real life Japanese supernatural stories and beliefs within it, so it's also slightly educational. The characters are unique and have very different personalities, some you will love and some you might end up despising. The art is very suiting for the story and atmosphere of the anime, some parts are extremely creepy and can give nightmares to more sensitive people. And the story line is extremely good, but it kind of ends quite suddenly, unlike the manga, so checking the mangais also a good idea to see the ending.
