Review of Neon Genesis Evangelion

i gave this show a 10 at 17 episodes in on myanimelist. everything from ep 24 was enough to drop it down by 4 points. i came for fantasy not life lessons. idc if shinji thinks hes worth less than a chewed piece of gum. can you just tell me what the angels are? shinji wouldnt wash his a$$ unless someone told him to. if nobody told him what to do he would sit there like a kettle. i felt bad for him at the start but cmon...come ONNNN. get a hobby? take up knitting? do something with the brain god gave you ffs!!! asuka will cracklike a clay pot if anybody else was told they deserve to be alive. she made me even like shinji for a bit bc i disliked her that much. peoples lives are at stake are you are crying bc shinji got a gold star and a pat on the back. get it TOGETHER!

rei is a literal science experiment and yet the only human id accept into my life. her wallowing makes sense. she is very valid.

misato is also valid.

ritsuko has generational demons atp. her mother has possessd her bc..? of all men?

everybody has daddy issues but the actual daddy with issues (ikari) was never given even a semblance of explanation. why is this man a literal menace to society?

lastly, what the FCK are angels?
