Review of Akira

I'm giving Akira a 9/10 overall. Though I might not ever understand the full meaning of this anime, I enjoyed it in an odd way. It made me think, but I'm not sure how or what about. It's relatively confusing at the start but it's a classic. The story was odd but intriguing and the sound and music were pretty good, but not outstanding. The concept of the whole move is bizarre and a concept that is not really explored in any other anime, as much as I am aware of. I really loved the art style, as I love other anime that is styled in the sameold way.
The character development of Kaneda and Tetsuo was very good.
To be honest, I began watching this movie, and after about 25 minutes I kind of gave up watching it - it didn't make sense at all and I didn't think it was going to be any good. But, I went back and watched it fully, and overall I can agree that I definitely enjoyed this, but in a peculiar way.
