7 /10

Story – 6.5/10: A bit confusing at times but it does have the hook and is pretty interesting. Animation – 7/10: The animation has quite many scenes with interesting angles, full rotation cycles in 2D, doesn't overuse the Ken Burns effect (zooming and panning of a still frame), though the fight choreography is kinda weak. Character design – 7/10: Pretty minimalist, not too much shading, the hair isn't very detailed, but the proportions look nice and the coloring is spot on. Soundtrack – 5.5/10: Well, meh, it is there, it does its job, but nothing too impressive. Overall – 7/10 The story is basically about going against the system ina fully digitalized semi-totalitarian society; though, not against the system itself, but more like against the "brass" who abuse their authority to do some nasty stuff (human trafficking in this case).

The setting is pretty interesting because the city this anime takes place in is something intermediate between a highly developed metropolis with its urban areas bustling with skyscrapers + the supporting infrastructure for those, and slummy, devastated areas inhabited by the outcasts and non-conformists. Sound similar to your typical cyberpunk kind of setting, but here the 貧富の差 (like, the poverty gap) is not as drastic as it's usually portrayed in sci-fi shows.

Overall, it's pretty good. Give it a watch.
