Review of The Rising of the Shield Hero

It is really sad to see a lot of reviews starting with "it's a disappointment for all, lot of us should never watch this" and so on... Come on, guys. We are leaving our personal thoughts and feelings after watching the anime. Starting off - the isekai genre is very hyped, i know. But it does not make it bad. There are good and bad ones, the idea of "isekai genre" should not make you skip this anime. The original story is amazing. I am still reading the novel with lots of enjoyment. The anime itself turned out a bit 'less' than the novel, but itwas probably because of just too much of content in the original story.

At the same time - I really enjoyed Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari a lot, because it's an amazing story of a different world with all kinds of characters, plots, relations and action! I really love how they showed Naofumi's story, it really made me excited. I looked forward to every new episode. And I am more than sure that the next season won't be worse! Maybe some points will start being understandable and it will make the overall story more enjoyable!

I highly recommend this anime for watching, especially for those who happened to enjoy the isekai genre.
