Review of Recovery of an MMO Junkie

Unique take on romantic anime. This is first and foremost a romantic story. Besides that, the most outstanding characteristics are setting and story telling. Also, it is quite good comedy. I don't really know how to write about story and storytelling without spoilers. Settings are of course based on story story, but the storytelling is what makes it work. And it works hella good. Combination of those two (setting is inherently dependent on story) make this anime quite unique and very enjoyable. Especially visually. I can't even hope to describe, how good it was, within this short review. You have to experience for yourself . . . [minor SPILERS] Butafter this admiring paragraph , I want to write about the few thing that bothered me about this anime. That would be males MC lack of initiative throughout first half of anime and shyness of MCs throughout second half.
While watching, those two things really bothered me, enough to not give it more than 8/10. But then I realised, that those things are big contributors to what makes this anime THIS ANIME. Because they are absolutely possible, sometimes maybe irrational, but perfectly fine at their context. But, it required me to reflect over it. So the true shortcoming of this anime is that those things were not polished enough . . . I can imagine that this would not be a problem for some people, but even bigger problem for others than me.
