Honestly this anime is one of the most wholesome slice-of-life anime's ever! Starting of with four girls in the first two seasons and then increasing that number to six for the last 2 seasons. Hidamari Sketch as a whole had so many moments that felt so close to home. With the occupants of the apartments acting more like a family as the series progresses. The animation quality also got better as the series went along which was pleasing to see, the animation style which was reminiscent of the monogatari series was also really well done. All the characters were loveable from all the main girls: Yuno,Miyako, Sae, Hiro, Nori and Nazuna to many supporting characters like Yoshinoya sensei, Chika, Natsume, Oyasan, the Principle and more!!

With 4 whole seasons and more than 60 episodes total if the specials and ova's were to be counted, Hidamari Sketch is an anime that cannot be skipped, if your looking for something more calming and relaxing to watch then this is your go to cause you won't find many anime's that are longer in series length or better than this. The First 2 seasons get you accustomed to the main 4 girls, then the next 2 builds up the relationships (new and old) between the main girls + 2.

All of this culminates into an emotional ending and farewell to not only Sae and Hiro as they are headed of to college, but to also this series as a whole. Now if you will excuse me, I am now gonna end of this review by doing what Yuno does at the end of every episode, taking a bath! Jā matane
