Review of Parasyte: The Maxim

Plot: 9 - Beautiful to a disturbing extent, this anime does a great job in character development and progression. Ep 6 - 18 are near flawless, the themes covered along with the personification of demons to humans is creative as hell. - Only criticism was perhaps the final few episodes, the main villain wasn't given proper closure and lacked the appropriate amount of development. Additionally, the very last episode wasn't really needed, the anime had done great until then and the final episode although emotional was the weakest. Animation: 8.5 - The art-style and design is very nostalgic to older animes, even fast paced scenes are reminiscentof the old anime fights.
- General animation is lit.

Voice acting: 8.75
- Magnificent acting and personification, the voices are true and tell a true story.
- Every emotion felt by the characters is real, that's how good the VA is

Music: 10
- No much to say, background OST might be the greatest in anime/movie history. From emotional settings to tense settings. The music enveloped and conveyed every scene so beautifully that it was almost entrancing.
OP and ED are great as well.

Execution: 9
- Besides pacing at some points, near flawless.
