I really liked this OVA. The art style was absolutely adorable, and I'd say it was a vast improvement over the art of Trigger Happy Havoc's adaptation. Given that it was so short, I don't have much to say, but I think it was as well-rounded as a one-episode OVA could possibly be. The plot threw me in with no warning, and it was a welcome addition to puzzle over with the plot of SDR2. Also, it was nice to see that cast reimagined in a domestic setting, even if that setting wasn't what we ended up with. Having more background on Komaeda was welcome, and has made me appreciate his character a little more.
