Review of Amnesia

I don't think this series gets enough credit personally. The story is very interesting and in my opinion not very hard to follow at all. It goes from story to story in a pretty fluid way. The art on this show is probably it's most stunning aspect. The way the characters are designed especially the hair and eyes are pretty and they do a more unique sort of thing where they blend colors. One character's hair is yellow but fades into orange at the tips and the cloths are interesting and unique as well. A lot of work went into the character designs and itpayed off because the fact that it looked so nice art wise was why I started watching other then the plot.

The sound has good quality and so is the soundtrack. The voice acting is also really good quality and done well, you can tell what emotions they're trying to convey and they don't fall short with the sound quality at all most of the time. I also really loved the characters in the show as well. My only complaint was that alot of them would always follow that "I'm going to be cold to you first and nice to you later" pattern and I wish they had all been a bit different in that regard but other then that I enjoyed most of the main characters with the exception of of one them. Even the side characters were nice for me to watch.

Overall yeah this series is good but it may have been a bit rushed because they tried to fit an entire otome game into 12 episodes, I guess they were trying to advertise the game. If it had been longer though, it would have been better. In the game each characters route takes place over a month and you have more of a chance to get to know them and 4 to 5 endings for each, one of them even has 9 endings! So that's why shoving everything into 12 episodes wouldn't work out and I can see why people would be confused and not get it. For the time it was given though, I think it did a pretty good job. I recommend this anime because it has an interesting and unique plot for an otome game anime and I personally like most of the characters and find them interesting. I would also recommend the game it's based off as well!
