Maroushinshi B.T. is an excellent one-shot (or perhaps a two-shot?). It stands strong on its own and is filled with homages to Araki's body of work. This piece serves as a love letter to Araki and his creations, with much of its charm residing in the references and callbacks. Consequently, the art is detailed and impressive, befitting the project's nature. Numerous background elements include nods to Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, which may seem nonsensical to a non-Jojo fan. However, it aligns well with BT, as he is portrayed as somewhat of a hoarder. This homage enhances the overall appeal of the story. BT himself feels like a morefully realized character than in the original run. The updated focus on contemporary forms of widespread deception fits seamlessly with the BT we already know, effectively tackling modern scams.

The segment titled Old Virginia serves as a fantastic retelling of a previous Araki work, executed exceptionally well.

Overall, Maroushinshi B.T. is an awesome read for its target audience and likely enjoyable even for those who have never experienced Jojo's Bizarre Adventure.
