Dangerous Drugs of Sex · review
If you're looking for a good story, this one absolutely isn't it. If you're looking for forced orgasms, stockholm syndrome, predicament bondage, and noncon... you might like some parts of it? Possibly? This story really suffers from wanting to have it both ways - fucked up and sweet - but not being able to capture human emotions accurately at all. And I know, obviously, that sounds like a given with what the premise is - but I was still surprised to see it attempting to be a love story or a recovery story or a story of hope or... anything other than just fucked upfetish content. It actually would've been better if it just committed to being the latter, because it would take a really exceptional writer to turn this premise into something believably romantic, and that was not the case here. For people who want a sweet romance, this is too far-fetched and nonconsensual to scratch that itch. For people who want extreme fetish content, this is too self-conscious to admit that either party could enjoy what's happening and the edges are sanded down with a half-baked "tragic backstory" (which somehow makes the sex crime element worse, not better?).
I try to finish stories before reviewing them, but it really felt like a waste of my time to keep enduring their "love".
