Living a Laid-Back Second Life on the Island of the Strongest Species · review
This series somehow was recommended at the top with less than 50 chapters with millions of views so I figured it can't hurt to try it myself. As of writing this review, I have fully caught up to the unofficial translations. I can only describe this Isekai story as "slightly above the standard." The story centers around our usual Japanese MC getting whisked away into a world and coincidentally into a mysterious island. Seeking peace, he gets involved with powerful people very soon. That's the whole story, and there's nothing more to it. Everything feels....expected and no surprises at all. It feels more like this series is playingit safe by sticking to the tricks and tropes rather than going further.
I will give a decent rating since there are some good points, however, it can't get any better than this.
